Keith Lesser is the heart and soul behind his Home Style BBQ business, a venture born out of his deep love for the rich, smoky flavors of Southern-style barbecue. While many might associate BBQ with Texas, Keith’s style draws inspiration from the Carolinas and Alabama, where the focus is on tender, slow-cooked meats, tangy sauces, and a balance of sweet, smoky, and spicy flavors. His BBQ is a celebration of tradition, craftsmanship, and the kind of comfort food that brings people together.


Since early 2018, Keith has been running the show solo after parting ways with his former business partner. What started as a shared dream has become his personal passion project, and he’s poured every ounce of his energy into perfecting his craft. From slow-cooked beef brisket that melts in your mouth to succulent pulled pork, fall-off-the-bone ribs, and smoked chicken wings, every dish is a testament to his dedication. Keith takes pride in making all his own rubs and sauces, ensuring that every bite is packed with flavor and authenticity.


Keith’s BBQ isn’t just food, it’s an experience. Whether he’s serving up plates at local markets, catering private functions, or firing up the smoker for events, his goal is always the same: to bring people together over great food. His laid-back, approachable demeanor and genuine love for what he does make him a favorite among his customers.


Though Keith hasn’t yet made it to America, it’s a dream that fuels his passion. He envisions embarking on the ultimate BBQ trail, traveling through the Southern states to soak up the culinary culture, techniques, and stories that have shaped American barbecue. At the top of his bucket list? Spending a week learning from the legendary Myron Mixon, the “winningest man in barbecue,” to refine his skills and bring even more expertise to his craft.
